Ck the fuse first it located in the fuse box on the driver side inside the truck if good then ck the brake light switch located on the brake pedal rod under the dash

Could be one of three things;
1. Check the fuses in the fuse box.
2. If all fuses are OK, check the headlight switch.
3. If this car has 'delay turn off lights' feature, the lighting control module should be checked.

My brake lights went out, i changed bulbs, checked fuses , nothing seems wrong but still no brakes


try taking a look at the brake lite switch located down by the brake lite switch. Test it with a multimeter or test lite.

2004 Chevrolet Aveo Brake Lites Inop.


I have replaced several brake light switches in this particular car.The brake light switch is located under the dash on the brake peddle arm and is not expensive or hard to do .This seems to be the biggest problem with the brake lights:)

Interior lite inop , bulb is good and ground is too , where does it get the signal voltage from ?


Hi, locate the fuse box then check the fuses you proberly have a fuse blown.

check the brake lite switch on the brake pedal and then trace he wiring back up to it's power supply if it is not the brake lite switch.
