Windows roll down automatically

This is normal operation for these windows, there is no way to get around it as the tracks in the door are onyl long enough to allow them halfway.

You have to remove the inner door panel, End then put it back into the track,

Sounds like you may have blown a fuse. Good luck

if your windows where down and you pressed the keyfob would the keyfob also roll the windows up? if so then the most likely cause is when you are pressing to lock the car the car is then checking the windows are up, if one of the windows is out of alaignment and touching to close to the top of the window frame then the car will think that someone has there finger stuck in the window and automatically put them down.

Is it all windows that come down?

I assume they all (windows)have automatic feature(should say on master switch ALL AUTO) , two clickes on each switch.First click for manual rolling , second click for auto rolling.
If that so , you can try to reset them :
Put the ignition on or start the car , close all doors ,
roll window up on first click and hold it for 10 sec. , then go down and do the same when window is down. If it doesn't work with the first click , try it on the second click. Roll it up and hold switch for 10sec.
, then down and hold switch down for 10 sec.
This procedure will not work if you only have auto on driver window.

yes this does happen,try disconnecting the battery and joining the leads together ,this often resets it other than that its either a new drivers door lock or the dealers to have it re programmed

I had same problem. Driver door would lock/unlock with key in keyhole in door, but not with fob, and other doors would not lock/unlock. Even once inside none of the doors would lock/unlock with lock switch, or even by pulling handles. Mechanic (very trustworthy) explained I needed a new control module (cost me $600). Good Luck. $600 is better than having to roll down the windows so Grandma can Luke Duke it outta the car.

check to see if the convertible top contacts at the locks on the top of the windsheild are stuck or damaged if they are this will not let the windows function properly.

Most cars will do this for tem minutes, that is, let you roll down the windows even after the key is off. When you open the drivers door, it automatically cuts all power, thus stopping the procedure. Hope this helps.

problem with the window actuator assembly , will need to strip out to see the exact problem
