Question about 1992 Oldsmobile 88

1 Answer

I need lights

I have a 92 Oldsmobile 88 and my dashboard lights went out. I've checked all the fuses and it doesn't look like none are blown. It really doesn't indicate which is the fuse for the dashboard. If you all would help me with this i would surely appreciate it.

Repair dashboard lights

Need more clarification on dashboard light problem. Could it be a blown fuse? I would check the fuse panel before disassembling the dashboard. That would be a pain in the ***** if all it was was a fuse problem. Just sayin'. :)

Dashboard lights out

Try disconnecting the negative bbattery cable for 5 minutes to reset the system control module, if that doesn't do it you will need the dealer to look at this.

Warning light problem

Look for a 10amp fuse marked "indicator or Indic "
It may be in the fuse box in the passenger compartment or in the box in the engine compartment.
Keep in mind if the fuse is blown you will need someone to check for a short or the reason the fuse was blown.

My dashboard light for 2002 Ford KA not working, even after replacememt

Could be the small bulbs in the speedo unit have simply blown over time . You just remove the speedo unit and they tun about 90 degrees to unscrew . They cost a few pounds and you can get different colours these days.
