Question about 1994 BMW 3 Series
I have a 1994 318is coupe whenever i accelerate there is a clicking noise coming from begind the drivers dashboard, thiss noise gets louder the harder you accelerate but if you just cruise at a set rev rate there is no noise
Hello, this noise may be a stuck or warped lifter. This also can be a warped wrist pin or a thrown bearing. I would check and see if your oil is sludgy for a lack of better words for starters. I would check your oil level as well. Your valve lash can be off as well and this can be thrown off by this causing the ticking noise you are talking about. Is the noise coming from the top or the bottom of the motor. I hope this helps. Thank You.
