Question about 2002 Toyota Camry
Some one helped me jump the car after the lights were left on. they hooked up the battery cables wrong and crossed the polarity. i have fixed and or replaced the 120amp fuse and the 15 amp fuse associated with the ing. now the car starts and idles but when I press the accelerator pedal down there is nothing. what the heck do i check and or replace now?
Have someone clear codes and reset all adaptives and then see if its fixed. If not then youll need an ECU(computer). Hooking the cables up wrong will spike the computer and fry one or more quad drivers in the ECU.

Hi, check the EGR valve to make sure it is closed at idle and operating properly. In addition, check the fuel injector flow. Even though you checked the injector waveform, the injector nozzle may still be faulty. Also perform a cylinder leak down test, you may have an intake valve that is leaking.......

that is a possibility. is this a guarantee to fix? if he has done the proper diagnostics and he is guarantee the repair then this would be logical. but no fix no pay. dont let it turn into something else and something else. hope this helps

have you pulled codes or checked the fuel pressure? It could be a host of things, like a clogged air filter restricting the flow of air into the engine, a bad air meter, clogged injectors, etc. Engine codes will help you start narrowing things down.
Has the engine air filter ever been changed?
