How to replace the front bumper and grill on a 97 ford explorer

Im trying to replace the front bumper and grill of my 1997 ford explorer and need a diagram on where the bolts are to disconnect the bumper and then i need to know how to remove the grill. PLEASSSE SOMEONE HELP!!

    did it along with the radiator and headlights its a #$%@ with out a diagram take a fully stocked toolbox n some bandaids good luck

    theres hidden clip made of plastic, if i remember correctly all around the grill brittle probrably easily broken if not caefull i replaced with bolts n nuts w locking washers as i was far from a parts store

You need a repair manual, Haynes or Chilton, there are too many places to explain here in this format, if you can not find these book at your local parts store, then try your local library, then sometimes even have the dealer shop manuals for your use, hope this helps

Im looking for a front bumper and grill for my 95 isuzu rodeo. its a 6 cyl engine and white in color. It currently has crome bumpers but painted would also work.

Hi; Im not a mechanic and own a 97 ford explorer and will be trying to rmoval a windshield 97 ford in a wreckers tomorrow. Are there any tips u can help me with, and any Tools I will need ? thanks Howard

get a helper and a lenght of piano or guitar string, one on the inside one on the outside cut the adhesive all around the windshield, use a windshield adhesive to glue the new windshield on and let sit for at least 24 hrs

Where is my horn located for a 1994 ford explorer im trying to take it all the way out help me please!

The horn is located between the grill and the radiator. It will probably be attached to a bar just in front of radiator. You should be able to see it if you look through your grill.

Headlamp replacement

you dont need to disconnect battery, just remove the front grill as there is a bolt hiden behind that, there is a bottom bolt on the lamp and you may need to drop the bumper slightly to get to this, this is easy just remove the 2 crosshead screws by the wheel to drop the bumper slightly.
