Sometimes flushing won't work if the plugging is too well established. what happens is that the flush goes around instead of through the problem area. As a last resort, I sometimes remove the radiator and block off the lower hose connection then fill the radiator with CLR or other similar household lime remover and let is sit for several hours, then backflush with a garden hose. If that fails to work, you need a new one.
I'm assuming that you do not have a head gasket problem and that the electric fan comes on when it's supposed to.??? I can't guarantee this will work but it has for me many times.

Hi, if you have flushed the radiator and changed the thermostat, the only thing that can be causing this is a faulty water pump impeller. i recommend replacing the water pump in this case. make sure your cooling fans are operational as well and check the operational value of the temp sensors on board as well.

is the electric fan working? if not it could be the fan or it could be the cooling sensor, find the sensor and disconnect it.. i believe the fan will stay on constantly if it is unplugged, this should tell you if its the sensor or fan

This mean thet there are some problems of transmision and the computer doesn't allow you to overdrive becouse you can destroy it. It's a protection measure. You must go to service for a test.

Thermostats are a necessary element and they allow hot coolant into your heater core. I would replace it with a dealer supplied one.
You will ruin your engine if you operate without it.

If this doesn't work have the system flushed as a last resort. Pay a little more to have a dealer do it. Well worth it.

They will also check your rad cooling ability as well ad your heater core.

I have a 2000 montana and mine was doing the same thing. I replaced intake manifold gaskets, thremostat, and water pump. Turns out it my heads were warped. I had them taken to a machine shop and it has seemed to fix my overheating problems.
