95 Chevy blazer transmission fuse keeps blowing

One of the solenoids inside the trans is shorted . TCC,3-2 ,2-3 ,1-2 shift solenoids . Do you know how to test electrical circuits with ohm meter ? Find the PCM or a connector (which ever is easiest ) to get at ! Go here for wiring diagrams free wiring diagrams. Test each solenoid circuit . The fuse supplies power, the PCM - engine computer turns the solenoids on by supplying a ground . My H2 Hummer had a computet code P003 misfire on cylinder 3.I switched the spark plug wires around now Im getting a computer code P001 multiple misfires

check engine control fuse and then switch the coil packs around again. Rescan, and see what you get. Then switch to different coils again and rescan.
Mine was a combination of a blown engine control fuse and one bad coil.
My friend had the same, but it was 2 bad plugs and one bad coil.

Need to replace drivers side rear view mirror, powered. I have the new mirror, just need to know how t install it.

You remove the door panel on the inside and it is bolted on from the inside. One wire clip and 3 bolts. Takes longer to remove and replace the door panel than replace the mirror....look for a hidden screw under the armrest , under the window/door lock button panel and sometimes behind the reflector or light on the bottom of door..Usually there are 3-4 screws and then the rest of the panel is held on by plastic clips. Get the screws out, then work a flat screwdriver or putty knife around the sides and bottom of panel, then lift upwards to get the top sealing side out of the track where the window runs.....Mike

Tyre Pressure light has appeared on dashboard of 2007 BMW 118d sport.However according to the manual I need to reset INT option on the board computer, however no option of INT on indicator stalk? Can you...

it is done by selecting af the indicator stick, and choose reset, then drive for 50 meters/yards then the computet knows the turns af all the wheels and can find out if you get a flat ot poorly inflat4ed tyre.

no need for bmw service, it is also in your manual for the car. (i got one also)

I have a 86 firebird need to know what the 4 wires are that go to the the hei distribator

ok looking from the driver's side of vehicle at your distributor. There is a power wire (which on most accel or msd distributors) on the right in the first row the wire connection on the left is for a tachometer the row behind it can either have 2 or 3 wires most of the time 1 is usually black and it grounds the ignition coil module inside the cap the other wire/s tranfers power from power connection to coil. A hei or high energy ignition system uses the coil module to amplify the voltage from the standard 30k volts to about 45-50k volts

Have 03 mustang brake light switch went out 3 times within a short time of each other, they replaced it at no charge each time but why does it go out so frequently, as a matter fact it went out again today

Hi, because there is no relay in the circuit, all the lamp power passes thru that switch. Recommend you check the stop light bulbs to make sure they are the low wattage bulbs specified for your car. The higher wattage bulbs will fit in, but they draw too much current. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

My trunk-lid won't open by key or button inside how do I get it open..

need to know make and model of car! most of the time, ya can go and take out back seat, and from there is the cable for trunk release, its on most new cars. pull on this cable it should work! you said your trunk will not open by button!! if it is bad. remove button, and touch the 2 wires together from the button, if trunk opens then button is bad. if 3 wires, touch together power in and power out. other is ground. if it has 3 wires. have a good one!! good-luck! also check and see if you have a fuse for this in fuse box. check first!!

Where is the fuse in the fuse panel for the fuel pump because of the fuel pump is new same thing with starter but will turn over but no fire so needs to find out where the fuel pump fuse is

It's in the underhood fuse box and labeled as F/ PUMP.

I personally like to backprobe the power wire to the fuel pump (large purple wire) as close to the fuel pump as possible and with the fuel pump connector plugged in. This will tell me three things.

1. If there is power than the fuses, relays, and wiring are correct.
2. If there is low voltage (less than battery voltage) there is extra resistance in the power supply wire. This could be a relay with dirty contacts or corrosion in the wiring.
3. Power is supplied to the pump for 3-5 seconds when the key is turned on. This lets me know the PCM is working correctly and receiving the crank signal from the ignition switch.

If all those check out check the ground circuit to make sure it is complete. Check for voltage on the ground wire while the pump is being powered up. If there is voltage on the ground circuit than there is resistance in the ground circuit which again could be corroded wires or corroded contacts where it meets the body.

I am pretty sure this one has a metal sending unit (the part the fuel pump mounts to. If it does and you reused the old one make sure the four wire connector that plugs into the top of the sending unit on the inside isn't burnt up. The pin that supplies power to the pump likes to burn up on these. I know it sucks that you already have it back together but if all of the above check out that is a possibility that needs to be explored. I would say that about 75% of the time the sending unit needs to be replaced because of this.
