Question about 1999 Mercury Villager
Engine misses while ideling with foot on brake and at speed ranges of 48 to 59 mph other wises appear to run fine and accelerate normally. I have so far replaced plugs, cap and rotor and visual inspection at night to see if there where sparks visable from any egnistion items, there where none. timing chain, distrubtor and computer chip replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. engine check light was on here and there on all the time now. 130,000 miles
I had the same problem, but at speeds between 40-50mph, so i replaced the distrubutor, same problem, now the codes that show up are a knock sensor, oxygen sensor, and fuel cap
