Question about 2003 Hummer H2
My electrical was completely out. No door locks, windows, radio, or gauges. Both key and shifter were locked up. I replaced the wiring harness attached to the shifter on the side of the shifter console. This fixed all my electrical issues but my key will not release nor will it shift in to gear. I have to manually push release button for the key as well as the actuator to engage the shifter. I took it for a test ride and also noticed it felt as though the e-brake was engaged yet it wasn't. Is there a "clear code" I need to use? By replacing the whole shifter assembly will that cure my problems? Thanks
Yes, the shifter assemly has to be replaced. they are pricey but it does fix the problem. Also is very common in the newer Dodge magnums.

Replace the PCM fuse located under the hood in the fuse box. Sounds crazy but mine wasn't blown, took it to the dealer and they replaced my "good" fuse with a new one and everything worked again.
