No "bus" means no communication to or from the ECU. You need a ECU computer for your car.

"engine not starting" sure... but that is step 2, not 1.
but you failed to say does it crank robustly
yes./no?
if NO, those silly dash messages are a waste of time.

ever herd of jumper cable starts, or calling AAA and asking the man do jump start your dead battery?
are headlights dim?
charge your dead battery with a charger?
or replace it with borrowed charged battery?
or if dischanged, and you charge it and it starts now, does the alternator work> and give you, 13.3v to 15v battery voltage
no? then dont drive too far or this will strand you. as battery dies again,

is the battery good, 12.6vdc rested and 11v min, cranking?
if the battery gets too weak, it cranks too slow and voltage falls too much and the ECU/PCM/BCM (brains) will fail and dump lots of codes.
one code is low battery.
the FSM book covers all code, buy one or look at alldata.com?

My 2002 put cruiser reads no bus in ?the odomator display even with ?the key off and out also dash lights flash off and on

The no bus message means one of the control modules isn't communicating on the data bus or isn't working ! I don't know how many modules yours has but ,if it has antilock brakes an I know it has air bags , an PCM - engine transmission computer , the instrument cluster has a control module an all these modules are on a serial data communication network , there share information ! The speedometer gets it's info from the VSS vehicle speed sensor through the PCM over the bus to the instrument cluster same with coolant temperature ! So I would have it taken to the dealer if you don't know about this stuff ! Need special tools to test this 2004 Chrysler Sebring No Bus message in cluster testing

What does no bus means when it showing in your automobile display in a chrysler 300

This fault code is linked to the on board computer that monitors the vehicle and most likely there is a loose circuit between the dashboard wiring and the computer.
I would be careful not to drive the car in this condition as it is important for the computer to be operational whilst you are driving.
Check the fuse box under the dashboard and the bonet for loose connectors. Most likely some wire is twisted or broken. It appears to be a common problem with the Chrysler fleet of vehicles.

A no bu5 message appears on the dashboard

that message is probably "no bus" which means the instrument panel is not communicating with the body computer or engine computer.
It could be a bad connection in the wiring or a problem with the cluster.
You can do an internet search for "no bus" for details.

What is a bcm on 2002 chrysler sebring and how do i fix it? What is its function getting code on dash no bus

The BCM is the body control module. Its responsible for functions such as your dashboard display. The no bus means the BCM isn't receiving PCI messages. It can be caused by many things, but have you done any work to the car recently? I had this issue and it turned out to be an exposed wire. But if you haven't done any work on it, you will have to go to the dealer to run diagnostics on it with a DRB-III to find out what is wrong.

No bus

As far as the first question, can you get a PCM with the same number, yes.

Can you discribe what happened prior to the "no bus" message?
