It is located on the back side of the underdash fuse box (junction block). You remove the lower steering column cover and knee blocker reinforcement. Then remove two plugs from the bottom of the bcm.
Remove the bolts holding the junction block to dash panel mounting bracket. Remove the junction block from the bracket. Remove screws holding the bcm to the jb. Slide the bcm downward to disengage guide studs on jb from channels on bcm mounting bracket

Number fuse that powers windows

The windows are fused directly, they are operated by a computer module known as the "GEM", all the body electrical functions are controlled by this central module, it is fused by about 4 different fuses, but it is very unlikely a fuse is the problem as if it was you would have allot of things not working, windshield wipers for a start as well as the washers. This module can be tested with a special tool that prompts it to operate the many accessories it runs, It then returns fault codes for what is not functioning correctly. More than likely you have a defective GEM control module.

Where is the fuse box location for 2001 windstar and is the windshield washer fuse named

the washer pump is not fused directly, the pump operates through a central module called the BCM (body control module), so if the power windows work and the wipers work the problem is not loss of power to the system, it is either a defective wiper switch (most common) or it is a defective washer pump motor.
