The headlights will not turn off - then after 10 min they will shut off by pushing the headlight switch

Look for other light controls, this sounds like sentinal lighting, which has what looks like a dimmer style control that sets this light off delay. the goal is to give light until you get in the house. the delay is adjustable.

Delay in radio turning on and lights turning off

Sounds perfectly normal.. when you turn the engine over all power is diverted to the fuel , ignition and starter .. once the engine is running everything else powers back up... The interior light is designed to be that way , some have a adjustment as for how long you want them to stay on .

Where is the courtesy light delay switch located on a 1992 corvette?

The courtesy lights as well as the map lights (located on the bottom side of the rearview mirror) will come on when you open a door (unless it's bright outside) and will remain lit for approx 30 seconds and then will turn off. This is verbatim from my '92 Corvette owners manual - The map lights can be turned on and off, but there isn't a delay switch, persay. Hope this helped.

Put a test light on the starter ignition terminal,on the starter,if the test light lights up as soon as you turn the key to the start position, and the starter delays starting, check the voltage at the same spot, with a volt meter. If the voltage is lees than 12 volts, and then jumps to the 12 volts, after the delay, then replace the ignition switch. If the voltage is at 12 volts when the key is turned to start the car,and the delay occurs, replace the starter.

How to rewire a landcruiser to turn off head lights when motor is not running so the head lights are not left on when the car is turned off

It is fairly easy to interrupt the headlight wiring and add a relay to do this.
Some twenty years ago I bought a "kit" in the aftermarket auto supply store for this purpose complete with a delay for lighting your path from the car at night. It came with instructions.
Search the online retailers for "headlight delays"

My 2006 Taurus's headlights won't turn off

it could be in the headlight switch or the sensor I don't know if you have timer delay lights that goes off by themselves the timer could be bad if you have an owners manual check in there to see if the lights have this delay feature and there may be a way to set it for off
