Question about 1998 Volkswagen Jetta
I RECENTLY FOUND A PUDDLE OF RED OIL UNDER MY 98 VW JETTA GL(AUTOMATIC). I SUSPECT IT TO BE THE TRANSMISSION OIL BUT THERE IS NO DIP STICK TO CHECK IF ITS LOW OR EVEN WHERE IT IS. HOW WOULD I FIND OUT WHERE THE LEAK IS REALLY COMING FROM.
Hi, if there is no dip stick, the transmission may be sealed. in this case, your issue will be a main seal or faulty transmission pane seal(gasket). if possible, raise your vehicle so that you can get a good look at the pan and main seal area..
