Question about 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe
I have a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L, Front Wheel Drive
- with a Engine Code P1602
Driving the other day, loud bang, then got stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear. Sounds like transmission is in 3rd gear fault mode. I have disconnected battery, cleared codes with OBDII. Still stuck and code comes back. Park/Reverse/Shift lights on dash console are out. Will go into reverse and drops in hard. Im not sure if this is a input or ouput speed sensor, does not appear to be the correct code and from forums no one has mentioned dash lights out. Possible triptronic shift sensor? Ideas? Thanks
Im having the same problem with my 02 Santa Fe. How do i go about fixing this problem? And is it costly? Please help

Serial Communication Problem With TCU.
This is somthing I think you have to take to a shop for repair, the TCU I beleive is the transmisson control unit.
