Question about 1993 Nissan 300ZX
I am wanting to know how hard it is to replace an altenator on a 93 Nissan 300Z?
I've replaced a few on various vehicles but not this particular one.
A friend wants me to help him out...but before answering I wanted to find out the difficulty and any tips?
What would a shop charge?
I am a 300zx over for 5 years now. Replaced a few alternators in many other z's too.
For a newbie expect a couple hours. Remove the radiator and hoses.. will make it much easier.
Expect a shop to charge atleast 2 hours. Shop rates are around $90-$125 an hour!
