SOURCE: windsheild washer not working in toyota avalon 02

Looks like the washer motor has failed. Remove the lower plactic trim under the washer bottle & check to see if the connector is plugged in to the motor. Also check to see if there is power to the motor with the switch depressed. If you have power, you need a washer motor. Common failure if the washer fluid freezes once. Ice gets inside the motor & expands, breaking the internal housing and ruins the motor.

SOURCE: taking out my old radio and putting the exact same model in

You have to remove the top of center console to access the radio. Open the center console box, there is a small tab at the front. Pull up on the tab, you will see 2 screws. Remove them. Look to see where the center console top fits under the radio. Check for more bolts...Pull up on the console, and pull it back. After the console top is out, you will see another fascia tab. Remove it. If my memory serves me correctly, the A/C control and the radio both come out at the same time. Remove the 2 side vents and then you will see the bolts that holds the radio assembly. Note that the vents are in there TIGHT, be careful when you pry them out, they may break.

SOURCE: 1997 Avalon radio theft problem

Some dealers put the radio's antitheft code in the owners manual. If it's not there call your local dealer and they can reset the code for a fee.

SOURCE: I have a 2008 Toyota

Yes, it is possible. Every head unit has aux input, it might be an RCA or stereo plug. Just use an RCA to stereo jack cable or stereo to stereo jack cable.
After connecting the cable, you may now select aux input to the stereo and play your Ipod.

My toyota avalon radio stop playing after my battery died

You will need to take your car to a Toyota Dealer to have the radio reset by them. Newer model cars/trucks have a "anti theft" circuit built into the radio so if power is removed this circuit activates and kills the radio. Would be thieves then have a worthless radio if they steal it from someone.

The only place to get the radio service restored is at your local Toyota dealership service department. Hope this helps. Dennis
