Question about 1996 Nissan Pickup
It started when I one day decided to realign the steering wheel with the front wheels.I took the steering column loose from the steering gearbox, rotated it,and put it back. Now there is a rattle inside the wheel OR the airbag. Can I take the bag loose, and fix the problem, without the bag deploying ?The left turn signal never has wanted to self cancel, unless it's sharp left turn. This was of course before I messed with the steering column.Dave.
I would imagine the spring clip for the horn may be loose, or floating around in there, since you shouldnt have even touched the turn signal or any components there, i would definatlysay thats the problem, as far as the air bag, make sure to disconnect the battery and it should be ok, but work with it at your own risk
