It doesn't have a shifter control module. It has a transmission control module. But the problem you likely have is that you need to run a quick learn reset on the TCM. You will need a scanner to do this or have a shop do it for you. You need to reset the adaptive memory of the TCM and run it through quick learn.

disconnect the feed pipe to the injector rail and fabricate an extension to a can or three ,then lift back seat and rubber cap and look at the sender unit where their will be two thicker wires and two thinner ones ,well one of the thicker ones if the + and one is the - ,push a pin through one of the thicker ones and flash it with a hot wire ,if pump works first time then your a better man than me i always get the earth one first time ,if it sparks then its the earth ,pin the other one ,this will activate the pump in the tank ,once working it pump itself dry

try to reach up under the front of the car with your arm and try to locate the latch with the hood release cable attached to it. Use your fingers or plyers to manipulate the latch to release-pull on the cable. You may have to remove the grill to access it.

I lost my keys to my 2001 PT Cruiser, I have an extra key that only opens the doors but does not start the car. I don't have a way to get another key unless I go to the dealership, I can't get there w/o my...

hotwiring will not unlock your ignition which also controls your steering lock perhaps you can call the dealership and have the courier a key will cost you more but it may still be better for you they will ask you for vin number and perhaps proof of ownership it cannot hurt to call and ask

My 2001 sebring wont start. I turn the key and it

you could very have a transponder key that has failed to let the circuit complete to start the car. check that with your local locksmith. also try to unlock your doors manually with key , on the driver side and turn to unlock at least three times, i know it sounds stupid but your car has a passive alarm built in that will prohibit it from starting sometimes because it was designed so well.:) good luck.
