What is your engine code??.if you have a 2.0 petrol then the air mass meter is the common problem that will cause your symptons.

probally not the air mass meter then.you could try disconecting the oxygen sensor before the cat to see if that has any effect, other than that get the fault codes read from the engine control unit if its running that poorly there will be something stored .cheers

On a 1990 Nissan axxess it starts up then it shuts up and struggle to turn back on what could be the problem.

This could be anything from bad spark plugs, wires, rotor, and distributer. It could be fuel delivery, or bad gas. I would start with simple things, change the gas filter, the spark plugs, take a look at the distributer cap and rotor and the spark plug wires. If it has been sitting for a long time, pump the tank out and put fresh gas in.

two things one is failed O2 sensor .the other is your exhaust has a blockage inside it.but your hand over the tail pipe can your feel pressure .if yes .change the O 2 sensor.but you can try a fuel system cleaner in your fuel tank .get one that cleans the O 2 sensor.

2001 VW Cabrio temperature light is flickering

how long is a piece of string ? this is the answer because without head under the bonnet its very hard to diagnose ,it could be anything from a air flow sensor to a auto choke sensor so best advice is to ask a local mechanic to have a look for you see what they say .Sorry not to be able to give a nice quick answer but these modern cars are just too complicated nowdays even one as old as this

I would check the air filter, pcv valve (take it off and shake it), spark plugs and wires to see if it's just time to change em'.
