SOURCE: need buick century egr diagram

If your car runs bad with an EGR code then I would suggest that the EGR valve be replaced. I would like to know what code was set on your computer. It would help greatly. When the EGR malfunctions, you will have rough idle and possible stalling. If you have a code indicating EGR it may also condem the cat converter. Please show any codes that are set. Thanks Moe

SOURCE: I need the wiring diagram for a 1982 Buick Regal,

The black wire is usually the ground, that'll be the center connector. Use a jumper wire to go from the front position on the switch to one of the other wires going to the motor. (it's only 12 volts). If the window goes up, you've got the right one The other one is down. If you still need a picture of that, your Buick parts department will show it to you if you say pretty please.

There is no relay for the headlamps ,high or low beams . Probably the headlamp dimmer switch is no good , or you have a wiring problem ! Test the electrical circuit with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is the way to a proper fix. Looking at a wiring diagram so you know which wires to check an doing voltage drop testing . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter the vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on lighting ,then under subsystem click on headlamps . 08 Camry high beam light stopped workin so I bought a new switch.it still doesn't work but blinks When on " auto" Blue high beam switch light shows on dash but does not work. thinkin it's a bad wire?

No , not a bad wire ! The headlamps are controlled by the main body ECU - electronic control unit ! The Headlamp switch is a input to the ECU. The thing to do would be to hook up a factory scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Your best bet ,take it to a quailfied repair shop. You have no idea of the electronics involved to turn on those headlamps . thinkin it's a bad wire????? You wouldn't know how to test it any way , would you ? Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter , how to read a wiring diagram to trace a wire ? Looking at a wiring diagram i see relays for the head lamps . The ECU energizes the relay to turn on the headlamps . Does yours have auto headlamps ?

The way to find the problem is with electrical testing , using a volt meter , wiring diagrams an leaning how to do automotive electrical testing , how to read an use wiring diagrams etc.. Testing B+ voltage to the headlamps an the ground circuit using voltage drop testing . That is if you want it fixed right .

No headlamps , low or high beam ? Does it have DRL - daytime running lights an automatic headlamp control ? Have you check the headlamp fuse's in the under hood fuse box ? There is no fuse for the tail lights , Do the headlamps work ? Power for the tail lights comes from the headlamp switch ! Find yourself a wiring diagram an check the circuit ! You can find a wiring diagram here http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html .Do you own a test light or a volt meter ? Do you know how to read a wiring diagram ? There are alot of videos on youtube on trouble shooting automotive electrical circuits , under standing wiring diagrams etc... Did they just stop working ? Do the stop an turn lamps work ?

2005. Why is left headlight not bright enough?

Check for corrosion in that circuit , ground , connectors etc. find a wiring diagram ! an a component location diagram . An do a voltage drop test on the circuit . Lets see if I can explain this , if you get a volt meter an check voltage at the head light connector , the R/L wire is B+ for low beams , with the headlamps on you should see B+ , if not , your problem is in the power side of the circuit . Now check the Black wire at the headlamp connector . I should tell you put the negative lead of the volt meter on the negative battery post an the red positive lead at the black wire . You should see no more then 0.2 millivolts ,if you see around 5 - 6 volts you have a bad ground - corrosion ! an this will cause a dim light .

The running lights and tail lights work but no headlights on my 1994 Buick Skylark Custom. What is wrong?

Hey Dan , do you have a volt meter ? Pull head lamp bulb , with lights on check for battery voltage on tan wire left headlamp an lite green right side headlamp ! If there is no voltage back track to headlamp switch , which means pulling the plastic cover from around the upper steering column ! check for battery voltage at the Orange wire in connector # 1 , that is voltage supply to the headlamp switch ! Power going in an no power coming out with the switch in the headlamps on position means your switch is bad !

My 1994 C1500 headlights will not work but all other lights do. i have replaced headlight switch and still no headlights. also my low/high beam on column doesnt click when i try to use it? i have checked...

Without testing the electrical circuit's for the headlamps we'd only be guessing . Looking at wiring diagrams an testing the circuit's with a DMM - digital multi- meter is the way to find the problem , not just replacing part's . Sound's like you know nothing of automotive electrical system's ,an testing . Suggest you take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.
