Question about 2002 Ford SVT Focus

No tail lihts and brake lights

Brake lights and tail light do not work on 2002 Ford Focus. There is power to the brake light switch which does work. There are abs and brake light lights on the dash light. Front parking lights do work but not tail lights. Third brake light is inoperative also. Radio speakers do not produce sound either. All appear to have failed at the same time.

Check for a loom connection to the rear as it may have come apart.

SOURCE: Blows fuses when parking lights are turned on. Headlights work fine even running lights.

If it only happens when you turn the switchto the parking lights then it is most likely the swich that is the problem. Light swich failure appears to be a common fault with fords

2001 ford focus left tail light not working... left brake light does

You should have the computer scanned for trouble codes for the warning light.
As for the tail light, I would check the socket with a test light or meter to see if the socket is getting power for that circuit. The brake-turn signal circuit of the bulb is different from the tail light circuit.
