Question about 2000 Buick Century
Sounds like you have flattened the battery, the buzzing sound is the starter solenoid tripping in and out due to low power so the lights start flicking, charge battery or boost start from another vehicle

the fuel pump could be bad from running the tank low of fuel,or try pushing a small wire into the little valve in the fuel rail,to relieve air thats blocks the fuel, because the injectors dont always allow air to pass through it.

First off, you should have removed the negative battery connector before doing any work like this. Try assembling everything back together, then check for any blown fuses and any obvious burned wiring. If the check engine light comes on, you will need to read out any codes with a rented scanner. Those codes will generally identify what is having a problem including the computer itself. Good luck!
