Engine coolant temp sensor 2
or wiring fault ECT on the radiator. Check wiring and sensor around area. also try a battery disconnect for 30 mins at allow engine management system to reset. ensure battery is fully charged
hook up battery charger on low amp charge, turn key to run position and leave it on for 20-30 min. then turn key off, wait a few seconds, then attempt to start. if that dosent work, let me know.
If you can duplicate the problem if the car is parked, I would want to know if the alternator is charging the battery when the battery light comes on and if there are any codes stored in the computer. Battery voltage dropping below 12 can cause all sorts of electrical problems, and some of the warning lights are connected to each other.
check the condition of the earthing strip on the engine to the shell also the shell earth. a week earth can limit the voltage from the alternator to the battery
try unhooking the battery cable longer then 30 sec try at least min of 5 min or so it should reset if not then u have some other issues with emissions but it is always a good practice to always turn off vehicle when getting gas to keep from this happening
Hi, the security system has to learn the new key resistor in the new column. If you try to start it, leave the key on for 10 mins, the security light will go off. Turn the key off, try to start it again, and release the key. The light will come back on again. Wait another 10 mins, intill the light goes out again. (leaving the key on). This has to be done 3 times total of 30 mins. When the light goes out a 3rd time, the vehicle should start, and run. Remember to turn off the headlamps, heater, radio, etc... as they consume power, and you do not want to kill the battery. Good luck...Coop
well...whenever the battery light comes on in a vehicle its almost always a charging problem,i would suggest replacing the alternator and charging the battery before starting it,alternators were meant to keep a battery charged NOT charge a battery, hope this helps
Something is not fixed. Though you say you fixed them or had them fixed doesnt mean it is all good. Sometimes defective parts. Unhook the battery for a few min. Then reconnect it. The drive about 30 nonstop miles. The computer will be clear then the problem codes will be stored and the light will come back on. Then re read it
