Question about 1996 Dodge Neon
I rebuilt the upper end of the motor, put it all back together it ran perfect for about 30 secs and died, ever since then it has no spark, only when you let of off the key after trying to start it, i have replaced the entire spark system and the pcm, i don't know what else to do please help,
Good, thanks checking the cps. Now, It souns like you have lost the current in thecrank circuit that bypasses the run circuit when you are cranking. This is usually incorporated in the starter relay circuit. Check all the fuses , that done and all is good, Check the actual switch to make sure it is traveling all the way. It may be mounted on the steering clolumn under the dash and actuated with a rod from the key if it is a column key switch. Let me know please.
