Sounds like a bad spark plug, spark plug wire. Probably the spark plug wire. They usually act that way when load is applied. It may misfire under light load and not at idle. Try plugs and wires.
Replacing the clutch of a front wheel drive car more often requires the transmission removal than the engine and that means removing the front wheels and partially dismantling the brakes and front steering/suspension in order to remove the drive shafts. Such rotating parts if not refitted correctly can cause vibration.

The coolant in the radiator has become tooo old. Get the radaitor washed and refill with new coolant. The car stalls on you is cause of over heating.

The mechanic should check on the Idle and adjust the Idle .the car is vibrating because of the Idle is low and the engine can't do to move very easy .there is low fuel coming from the fuel pump going to the engine.The transmission of the car don't have a problem because of you just change the oil . But the Idle has to be adjusted until the car will not vibrate.
