Question about 2000 Chevrolet S-10
There was a knocking. Replaced oil pump. The knocking is still there. but the truck wont start. it sounds like gunning (humming) but doesnt turn over.
Usually a knocking noise means that a rod bearing is worn out. Since your oil pump was replaced, you may have spun a bearing. I would suggest that your engine needs to be replaced.
