I have no idea what type of car you have but most modern cars don't use 4 core radiators anymore. I would look for another source to your overheating problem. ie. thermostat, water pump, leaks, blown head gasket, cracked head or block, clogged radiator, faulty cooling fan.................

If the problem is overheating on the highway, your prrboem is the radiator. Your engine produces more heat as it works under a load. sitting at an idle, it doesn't have to work. It's my opinion that the center rows of the radiator core are stopped up or severely restricted. With it using a plastic and aluminum radiator, I would only go with a new one. Out on the highway, it doesn't need the fans to cool the engine off, the movement of the car forces enough air through the radiator to keep the engine cool. Either that, or check for a badly restricted a/c condensor which will inhibit the air flow to the radiator. My choice would be the radiator.Without seeing it I can only give you my best guess. I work with a lot of Nissan's

Sounds like you may have a blown head gasket, white smoke is usually caused by this, driving it can cause major damage, best to have towed to a shop.

I have a 2004 Sentra. I have coolant leaking from the radiator cap, the car isn't overheating, and it only starts during the second trip in a row if I am running errands. Then it keeps leaking

take to to an accredited radiator shop instead of the mechanic as it has a suspect failure of the top plastic tank
they have a habit of cracking around the cap area or along the edge where is is crimped back to the cores
a pressure test will reveal the crack
the fix is by two methods
the tank is removed and a new tank fitted-- I never recommend that as it is almost as expensive as a new radiator and the bottom tank is also plastic and will be close to failure also, the radiator after 5 years will also have possible core blockages and that is not possible to clear out
you can fit a new radiator and eliminate the problems for not much more that the cost of the previous fix

All relays and what there for

Looking over the fender at the fuse box, you see three rows of relays. The first row, closest to the engine, has three relays. Below that are two rows of six relays each. Counting from the left:
Row One 1) Fuel Pump Relay 2) Main Relay 3) Oxygen Sensor Heater
Row Two 4) Horn 5) Tail/Fog Lights 6) Low Beam 7) High Beam 8) Emergency Flasher 9) Heater/AC Blower
Row Three 10) Rear Defogger 11) ABS System 12) ABS Pump 13) Radiator Fan High Speed 14) A/C Compressor 15) Radiator Fan Low Speed
#15 in the lower right corner of the fuse box is the one that seems to take the most grief and fail the most often.
