Question about 1994 Acura Integra
My daughter has a 1994 Acura Integra - we think it ran out of gas today and now it won't start - we put gas in and still won't start - a friend said we should check the fuel pump and it is in the gas tank - we can't get the back seat out of the veh to get to the fuel pump - Help
If you ran the car out of gas, there is a very good chance that the fuel pump is dead. Gas is coolant for for the pump like anifreeze is for the engine. The pump has now been overheated and will need to be replaced. You must drop the tank to do this and I hope you did not fill the tank. It is a very good idea to never run your fuel tank below 1/4 because you stress the pump if you do.
