Don't know how to get old oil out

I am trying to change my oil in my 2003 saturn vue for the first time. how do I get the old oil out?

There is a large drain plug in the oil pan at the bottom of the engine. u will need to raise the car off the ground.
REMEMBER TO ALWAYS US SAFETY STANDS, A CAR FALLING ON U CAN REALLY RUIN YOUR DAY.

for the engine light to come on there will be codes stored
It is that the mechanic is not using the correct scanner with the right protocol installed to read them

I just changed the oil in my vue and don't know how to reset the change oil light

If you open the hood and pull the fuse panel cover. With the ignition switched on (key on, engine off), press the red button in the underhood fuse panel for at least 5 whole seconds. The may flash a few times but then go off. Now you're reset.

We got a saturn vue 2003 2 years ago it had 60x mi on it now it's got 84x we change oil every 3000 mi and last year we took it to the dealership for service, but i want to know what other services should i...

Keep the serpintine belt, oil/oil filter, air filter, gas filter and transmission fluid/filter changed regularly. At 84k, check the brakes (front and back). I would look at changing the spark plugs as well. If it is running good, you want to keep it that way...good luck

How do you reset a 2003 saturn vue service engine soon lights and air bag lights. all I can find is how to turn off the change oil soon lights.

Not sure, I would try with an OBDII scanner. Available at autoparts stores or online at JCwhitney. Good luck.

Check engine light is on and cooling fan runs entire time car is running on my '05 Saturn Vue Have already changed the coolant temp sensor (code that keeps coming up) could it really be the O2 sensor...

curious to know if you got this solved. Guessing downstream o2 sensor. did your vue idle high? act like it was getting too much gas? Let me know please.

How do i reset the oil light on a 03 saturn vue? i did the turn the key and press the gas peddle 3 times and that didn't work.

The procedure you used is for the 2006 > Vue, and will not work on your 2003. For the 2002-2005 Saturn Vue V4 or V6 - Under the hood you will see a black fuse box behind the battery. Open it up and you will see a red button, it is small and looks like a fuse but on the top it will say Oil-Res. Turn on the ignition & press and hold that button for about 10 seconds. You may want to have a friend sit in the driver's seat and watch for the indicator to start flashing, which indicates you've activated the reset. Turn off the ignition and that will reset the Oil light.
