TRANSMISSION SLIPS ONLY WHEN I SLOW DOWN TURNING TO A STREET THEN I STEP ON THE GAS AND WONT ADVANCE TILL THE GEARS GET TO THAT SPEED THEN IT WILL TAKE OFF.

BUT WHEN TAKEN OFF ON THE ROAD THE NEXT GEAR GIVES THE WHOLE CAR LIKE A ROCK AND YOU CAN FEEL LIKE IF THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION MOVES AS IF IT WOULD JUMP OUT OF THE CAR, MY CAR HAS NEW MOTOR MOUNTS SO I DONT KNOW IF IT WOULD BE THE MOUNT FOR THE TRANSMISSION.

are you talking from a cold start? Auto transmission? when you first start most vehicles(auto tranny) if you just let up on the brake the car/van/truck will go forwards and speed up. My old Taurus did as well, so does my neon, my windstar, both the old mavericks, and the camaro. If you need it to stay still or slow down try applying the brake.

First gear will be the gear you start out with when you put it in drive, then to second about 20-25. The transmission pulls the car until you let off the gas.

Question 1. My 2003 Honda accord vibrates especially when the AC is on and its on drive or neutral gear, but it does not vibrate/shake when its in motion.

Hello,
It sounds as if your Automatic Transmission is having issues. The first thing to do is check the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). This is covered in the Owner's Manual (should be in your glovebox??).

If the level is low, it will cause issues. Your ATF should be serviced every 30,000 miles.

My car will not drive when put into gear

Sounds like your having transmission problems. Before this happened, had you notice any other things that felt wrong while driving such as: car not picking up speed as fast? Problem changing gears? A jerking like motion? Kinda hesitating or stalling whenever it does go into gear?

Jun 27, 2009- hi what i did mean to say is i have a honda accord 2005 2.4 v-tec automatic transmission its not a V6 engine for sure. this problem has suddenly started like as i said the D4 light starts to...

You indicated that the transmission starts jerking after a long drive.

With the mileage on your vehicle, and the possible sandy conditions that it is driven in, your automatic transmission fluid may be fouled, also causing the jerky shifting with extended operation.

A thorough cleaning of the transmission case interior and inspection of your gears are in order. You could prevent this similar situation after repairs by replacing your ATF more often that required by your service manual.

Hope this helps.

Speeds of 60 or above my car feels wobbly.sometimes my throttle cable (?) gets stuck so my car will be at a stop but the engine is still accelerating and lately it's sounds kind of like it puttering w

normally your engine should not cause your car to wobble, however a misfire can cause this to happen, as far as your throttle cable, you need to replace it and check the transmission kick down cable (co located with throttle cable) replace if necessary. The jerking when shifting is probably due to incorrectly adjusted kick down cable, when adjusted correctly the transmission with shift smooth. Hope this helps, let me know

Slow acceleration and jerking when put in drive or reverse

Just wondering if you had checked your trans fluid?
If it's at the right level I might go back to the place that did the tranny work and have a chat with them,
If your fluid is low you have to get it at the dealer, I think it is call sp5, I'll go check the bottle I have.
