Question about 2001 Toyota Highlander

Open Question

2001 toyota highlander p0141

Prior to replacing the bank 1 number 2 O2 Sensor to correct a code of P0141, I swapped it with the bank 2 number 2 sensor to verify the problem. The code changed from P0141 to P0161 to validate the problem, I thought. I purchased a new bank 1 number 2 sensor and replaced the bank 1 number 2 after putting everything back to original, Reset the system drove on the highway and as soon as I get off the exit on it comes, any help would be appreciated. How does the problem change sides when I only swap the number 2 oxygen sensor?

SOURCE: Ford Windstar 1996 Trouble Codes P0171, P0141, P0161, and P0174

Bank one is toward the front of the vehicle. Sounds like the heated oxygen sensors have gone bad. The Oxygen Sensors are located in the exhaust pipe and require a special socket to remove and replace.

Po141 keeps coming on even though the part was changes and the code cleared from computer, why?

The P0141 code refers to your o2 sensor heater circuit. while many times replacement of the o2 sensor can solve this problem you possibly have a short or open in your o2 sensor heater circuit. Also was the proper o2 sensor changed p0141 is the bank 1 number 2 sensor. Bank 1 refers to the side of your engine where the #1 cylinder is located sensor 2 should be the second sensor on that side depending on how many sensors you vehicle has. hope this helps

2001 toyota sienna 02 heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2

Sound like a DTC P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2)

A code P0141 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* open or short to ground in the wiring harness
* O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
* O2 heater element resistance is high
* Internal short or open in the heater element

Note: Typically a failed catalytic converter does not cause this code. You're more likely to see a P0420 code for a failed converter.

My car is xg300 Hyundai the code showing up are p01191 &p1193 , p0136, p0141 what are they will it cost me

Electronic Throttle System codes (P1191 & 1193), Limp Home mode & Low RPM (Detected RPM below 470). This is usually cause by either a sticking throttle plate or an intake air hose leak.

P0136 - O2 Sensor Malfunction (Bank 1, sensor 2), P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2). Either the sensor is broken, it's been unplugged, or the wiring has been damaged.
