Sorry, It probably isnt either one. I had the same problem for 3 years and nothing fixed it and I tried Everything. A mechanic buddy of mine told me how to fix the computer problem that was causing the no start issue when hot. Take the neg off the battery and touch it to the pos of the battery for 30 sec to 1 min. This resets the computer to factory and it fixed mine and it has run without a single problem all summer!

I would think that either your ignition coil or your starter is causing this.  Both of these as they start to go bad tend to fail when they are hot.  You can take your starter and your to an auto parts store and have them test it for free.  Either way, these are relatively easy fixes.  Good luck and I hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating and for using FixYa.

I have a 95 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and It will not start without putting some fuel into the throttle body. Once started it will run. But when you let it stand and cool off it won t start again. I have replaced...

The way you describe this problem the cause seems to be in the fuel system losing pressure. But even then, if you crank long enough it should start. Check your fuel pressure. It may be useful to check your fuel filter.

Have a 95 tacoma run normal when cold starts sputtering when warm

Don't know if this will help or not. I had a 1991 Camry that ran fine until it got warm. Would sputter and stall. I cleaned and messed with the throttle body adjustment until it ran OK. Can't remember what I did but there was some sort of adjustment on the throttle body. Good luck.

Starter relay switch

Yes it could. You need to have an amp clamp and a volt meter to test it though. Typical strike/peak amps is 150-200 range. If the amps are higher and the battery weak it could be your cause.

1992 toyota tacoma pick up will not start when it is colder outside. Usually when the temp is closer to 0 degree's. When it warms up outside there is no problem.....

Do you have a good battery? Cold weather is hard on batteries. Also you may need to change to a winter grade of oil. Oil thickens in the cold a makes starting difficult as well. Let me know. Thanks.
