This should be done by a certified A/C technician with the right tools, the system must be evacuated and then recharged with the correct amount of freon, doing anything less will cause problems. please rate my fix as i strive to be the best, nned more help get back to me

Ac use to work fine up until now. I don't know if its a fuse or what. Where is the ac fuse located at, in a 97 crown vick

When you say the ac is not working, do you mean the blower or the compressor is not engaging. If the compressor is not engaging, the system is low on refrigerant and needs to be checked for leaks and recharged. If the blower is not working, it will most likely be the resistors in the multiple speed switch.

Where to put freon in 1996 crown victoria

Requires R-134a refrigerant. Look for the black cylinder located on the passenger side under the hood. If you are unsure of how to proceed with recharging the system, consult with a certified technician.

I want to recharge the air conditioner on a 1992 crown vic

find your evaporator inlet outlet lines on the fire wall usually near heater core inlet outlet lines. then follow both lines until you find the one that goes to the compressor. that is your low side and the port should be on there
