Subaru iu have a 98 subaru legacy gt and the alarm wont go off i dont have the remote for the alarm .it wont let me turn the car on any clue any one

aside from the ignition cycle 3x's, which has NEVER worked for me; yet... you apperently hold the master door lock switch in the 'locked' position while cycling.
