here is a photo review, that is accurate up to

so do that , buy a new hub and put it back
the same way, using the tool stated
at the stated ranges of torque

Can I replace rear wheel bearings only on my 2007 sorento [I realise I need to have them pressed in] or do I need to replace whole hub & bearing assembly its a solid axle type

Hub bearings are always replaceable using the existing hub. You only need to press them in by hand and then tap them in with a socket big enough to sit on the outer bearing race. Put the hub on the car, put the tire on the hub and tighten the hub nut whilst turning the wheel until the pressure on the bearing caused the wheel to lock up. Then back the bearing off by the required amount, usually a quarter turn. Check the manual.

I have stripped a wheel lug and need to replace the front wheel hub. It stripped the grooves on the lug that fit into the hub.

Have you tried just installing a new wheel stud?

If you replace the hub you will also need to replace the wheel bearing since the bearing will be ruined when the hub is pressed out of it.

You will need to remove the knuckle from the vehicle and bring it to either a machine shop or auto shop to have the bearing and hub pressed in and out.

Im looking for front left hub for ford focus 2lt 2001 but i couldnt find it can you help me find it and if possible where i can download the part picture thanks

The hub is the part the tire bolts to. The hub sits inside of the wheel bearing. The wheel bearing is pressed into the knuckle.

If you looking to replace the hub than you will need to remove the tire/wheel, the brake caliper, the brake rotor, the axle nut, separate the lower ball joint from the knuckle, separate the outer tie rod from the knuckle, remove the strut to knuckle bolts, push the axle out of the hub and remove the knuckle from the vehicle.

The knuckle will then need to be brought to a machine shop or a shop capable of pressing the old bearing out and pressing the new bearing in. You will ruin the bearing once you press the hub out of the bearing so if you need to replace the hub than you will need to replace the bearing at the same time.

The hub is the part on the upper left. the bearing is the part on the upper right.

Need instruction manual/schematics for replacing 2005 kia rio driver side rear wheel bearing. i've got the wheel/hub/bearing off, not the inside ring to the bearing. i need to know how to replace it .

clean all the grease if there is any out of the hub, turn the hub over and using a drift and hammer strike the shell from the back edge working around the shell as you go, should not take too much to remove it but you will need a bit more than a tap with the hammer.
Hope this has helped you
