Question about 2002 Buick LeSabre

1 Answer

Car wont start once ieng is shut off for 20mins or longer

Every morning when I start my 2002 buick lesabre, the engine starts right away. No problem. However, if I get out of the car and come back 20 min later, and start the engine, the car will not start right away. If I try a second time and step on the gas, the engine starts. I thought it was just bad gas or something and the problem would go away, but it's been three weeks now and it still here. Please help. Thanks, GEM

This sounds like a defective fuel pump, but u will need to have the fuel pressure tested when it acts up to verify this is the issue 100%, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank.

Take your Buick to a shop where they can actually identify the head gasket leak.

Changing trans oil on my 2002 lesabre how do I flush the torque converter or should I?

In order to flush the fluid from the torque converter, once you have the transmission pan removed, start the engine and run the shift lever through the gears, then back to park. Shut off the engine. It would make sense to flush the old fluid from torque converter as you are replacing with a fresh screen and fluid.

92 buick lesabre: yesterday, it would not start when it was hot.

Crank sensor. Next time it does this spray some water on it and see if it cranks. Its by the crankshaft pulley towards front of car.
