Clio 1.8 16v L reg misfire

Wen i first start the car up it severly misfires but wen warm its nowhere near as bad,yet wen i put ma foot down the performance is still there,i posted a comment on here last week n was told 2 try the coil tried that and its still exactly the same wit new coil,the leads,plugs,rotor arm and dizzy cap have all been changed can n e 1 help please? could it be a timing problem perhaps? ? ?

Hi got mazda 323 1.3 w reg there is a misfire and the engine goes very slow have to put foot to floor wait for it to build up there are no codes because cant get dianostic to fit


Poss bad plugs, clogged injectors, clogged exhaust, crank or cam sensor. Have to read the ECM & read the specs to see whats happening.

Misfire warm


Possible an injector leaking down, saturating cylinder and spark plug., causing a misfire on startup and clearing up after it runs for a while.

Runs good cold,runs bad when it warms up


misfire is bad timing
check cam time.
check spark timing.
bad timing causes backfiring..

did you put the spark wires back like you found them or better the correct firing order? if not it backfires.
last is lean backfire.

I have a renault clio 1.4 R reg it misfires


misfire could happen if you have a leak in the intake or exhause valve , or if your engine running rich thats mean too much fuel coming to the engine . you should check oxygen sensor
