I have a 2008 pontiac g6 and the ignition won't turn all the way on to crank the vehicle. it will turn for the power to come on though

Sounds like the ignition switch has something loose or broke in it. Replace the ignition switch and it will be ok.

How do i fix a 2006 Pontiac G6 key stuck in the ignition

Two things do this. First the key and lock set is worn out. Next would at the shifter, The cable is stretched or broken. If it is electrical, then the release in the handle is sticking or solenoid is bad. Most likely yours is electrical, Most times I clean them, lube the them with dry graphite and all is good. But you have to get the shifter out first. Remove the console.

Disable the ignition kill switch in my 2007 pontiac g6?

are you asking for modifications to your car?
my guess is that its really related to
alarm system busted
or immobilizer features.
? please say what dont work right,
and on any 07 there is little that can be bypassed or diabled.
your GM dealer can answer that in 1 nanosecond.
in many cases its now illegal to do it. (new laws USA)
(have the fed. law , number here)

is car stock now, (stock means as it left the dealers lot new)?
post symptoms. and win.

Key pontiac g6

You can pull your computer fuse out to kill engine. But the problem could be many things. I would start with the ignition itself. May be rebuildable.

I have a new key for a 2006 Pontiac G6. I need to know how to program it

Assuming it's an actual transponder type key, here's how...
Withe the car off, insert the existing key in ignition to ON (do not start the car). After a few seconds, remove it and immediately insert your new key to the same position for a few seconds. Turn ignition off and then try to start the car with that new key.
