The brake light switch is unhooked, I can remove fuses & relays 1 at a time & nothing makes them go off except unhooking the battery.

someone has installed a new alternator, I unhooked it & it did not help. Is there such a thing as a brake reluctor relay in the circuit. I need a manual.

Sounds like you have a jammed or bad brake light switch.  It is mounted on the brake pedal.  Check to make sure it isn't jammed somehow.  If not, you probably need to replace.  Hope this helps.

Hello. My 85 Chevy 3\4 ton 350 ci truck has its taillights on all the time. The brake lights work as well as the turn signals. But the damn things won't turn off. I have to unhook battery.

If the tail lamps are staying on, that means the parking lights are on including the front, right ?
That could be the headlight switch.

Brake light and battery light stay on on dash it is a 2002 nissan maxima

This would not affect the brake light. Now that you have a new battery, unhook both cables for 15 minutes, then rehook to reset computer. See if this solves the problem with the lights, at least the brake light. If it does, then it can be the alternator unless both lights go out. Then it was a problem at the computer having to be reset.

Door dinger stays on after the car is shut off we have to unhook the battery everytime we get out of the car any solutions on why and how to fix it.

It sounds like the door switch needs replacing. They are dealer only products but cant imaging it would be costly. In the mean time try to duct or gorilla tape to keep it from killing your battery & having to unhook battery every time you want to go somewhere. Good Luck & I hope this helps you out/

Battery and brake indicator light stays on after start

When the lights are on check the battery voltage. Should be 13.0 to 14.5. If you unplug the connector on the alternator when the lights are on, do they go off?

Braking System

The big black sphere is the brake pressure accumulator and it keeps pressure in the system. When the accumulator is bad the pump will continue to run (whirring sound) until it builds up pressure.
You need to replace the sphere first then retest the system.
Before you remove the sphere you must depressurize the system. To do this, make sure the key is off and pump the brake pedal about 50 times.
