Noise from front end more so when you are turning

I thoght the noise was coming from the front left,I checked CV boot was ripped and bone dry.So I replaced the cv axle and wheel hub bearing.Still have the noise, seems to get loader the faster I go but makes almost makes a pumping grinding noise when you start to turn left or right.More so when you turn left.Could I have put the wrong side of the cv axle in? Maybe it sounds like the left but is the right side?

You also could have received a bad axle. Sometimes the rebuilds don't hold good tolerance and can make the same noise you are trying to get rid of. Is it full-time 4wd? Maybe the driveshaft ujoint also.

My granddaughter's 2000 Stratus makes a front end noise turning left but not right. Half shaft or CV joint?

I'd say constant velocity joint. It's been my experience that the offending side is usually opposite from the direction being turned. Turn the wheel to each extreme side and get a look at the c.v. boots. If it's ripped or torn it's a good indication that foreign material has entered it and caused excessive wear. If I've helped, please rate my assistance. Thank you and Happy Holidays.

Vibration and humming noise from under right front end. speeds up and slows down as i accelerate or brake. cv joint possibly?

Unless it is a hub bearing, yes, it could be a CV. If you can, look under the car and right behind the tire/hub assembly, you should see a rubber boot on the end of a shaft. Check the boot for a possible rip in it. If it is ripped, you'll see grease all over the place. Check the other end too, this end is attached to the transmission and will have the same appearance if damaged.

Grinding noise when turning wheel

I have heard a lot of dry outer tie rod ends and ball joints causing this problem. Ford used non greasable front end parts in those years.Could also be in the strut mounts. Get a second opinion. If it makes the noise sitting still it should be easy to find with stethascope or chassi ear.

I have a snapping noise in the front end of my 2004 ford explorer when the wheel is turned to the left or right at low speeds

Sounds like you have a cv axle going out check them for a broken boot that hold's in the grease to them if the boot is dry it will tear the cv axle up

1991 toyota camry front drivers side makes noise while driving

It's the left front wheel bearing. Take it to your favorite mechanic if you have one, any good tech can do it, but he/she could run into complications with a car of that age. (The hip bone's connected to the thigh bone, the thigh bone's connected to the knee bone, etc, and there's probably a good share of corrosion down there).

Creaking noise in front end 1997 explorer

Sounds like it is your CV axles.  Turn the wheel one direction, right or left, and check just behind the wheels to see if your CV boot is cracked or ripped (the boot is a black, rubber accordion looking thing).  If it is cracked or ripped, I would say that is definitely the problem.
