SOURCE: 1997 chevy 4.3 1500 will not start.

If all cables and battery check out....make sure you have a good ground. If that is all good you need to check if you are getting battery voltage down to the solenoid with the key in the start position. If not most likely it's the ignition switch...if voltage is ok check connections at starter and again make sure ground is good. You should see battery voltage at the solenoid when the key is in the start the battery cable and the smaller wire on the solenoid. If all checks out and still need a starter.

SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Avalanche. Truck will not

Do a bench test on the starter. Remove starter, hook up a ground cable to starter, and positive to two prongs on starter and it should spin. You can do this in vechile too but not suggested due to risk of injury. If it doesn't spin, probally a solenoid or the starter it self. Unlikely but possible.

Where is the starter relay on a 1995 Mitsubishi Mighty Max PU

It sounds more like you have a bad connection somewhere or possibly a weak battery.

My 2002 Z71 chevy tahoe want turn over no clicking nothing battery , relays , and fuses are fine just drove it yhe night before starter has also been replaced it seems like im not getting any power to the...

If the ignition switch is faulty there will be no current flow to the starter motor so it will not turn over. I suspect you have a problem switch and I would look to replacing the keyed ignition mechanism.

Can't get my starter to work in my 94 Chevy z71 2500

If a relay is the problem, turn ignition on and , using an insulated handle screwdriver, short the solenoid out by touching both post bolts simultaneously to make starter engage. Auto part stores also, at no charge will check starters if removed and carried into store. make necessary notes to ensure that wire connections will be reconnected properly.

Starter suddenly stopped engaging. could it be a relay switch

check fuses, it could be the relay, if it checks out ok, then the starter solonoid could be @ fault, FUSES FIRST, RELAY 2nd, STARTER/SOLONOID LAST, make sure battery & terminals ok, cleaned, tight, etc., battery must be fully charged ! you should have a relay box under hood.

I need a starter relay for my 1995 nissan quest, is there such a thing? I can't find it on line anywhere.

Are you hearing a clicking sound when you try to start your car. I suspect what you are really looking for is a starter solenoid.

A starter solenoid (or starter relay) is the part of an automobile which relays a large electric current to the starter motor, which in turn sets the engine in motion. In many vehicles the solenoid also engages the starter pinion with the ring gear of the engine.

1999 Chevy 3500 PU 5.7l gas. No power to starter there is one fuse #8 called "crank" that does not have power to it fuse is good just no power to it fuses to the left and right are good. All other fuses...

If your starter relay clicks, check for power coming out of the relay. You most likely have a starter issue, or if you have an aftermarket alarm, remove that first.

1995 nissan pu wont start... everything turns on

check for power to the starter at the starter's connectors while you have someone turn the key. If there is power, change the starter. If not check your ignition switch, (manual trans)clutch pedal switch, and starter fuses/relays. Hopefully this helps
