Rather than by-passing the immobiliser why not get it fixed and protect your car from theft.

1998 cadillac deville wont start cause starting disable remove key message shows up. What can i do to to fix it

First try another key if you have one.
If that doesn't work then remove the negative wire, wait a few minutes, reconnect and try.
If that doesn't work then you might have broken cable to the ignition switch.

Wont start clicking noise

Have the battery checked. A low battery will cause the Antitheft system to kick in. It then reduces starter Voltage resulting in the clicking you report.

A bad solenoid Relay will also click. Bypassing the part will allow the starter to work. It will spark, and should not be done too close to the battery. Jumper cables will still spark but more safe to test with for a defective solenoid.

Mycadillac wont crank

These cars are equipped with an antitheft system that disables the starter if not working correctly or attempted theft. Turn your key forward 2 clicks until right before it would normally start, if you see a light in the dash that says SECURITY or ANTITHEFT, go to this link for help.

1998 oldsmobile bravada security light flashing car wont start

This happens due to a failed or failing antitheft system. When the system cant communicate properly, it will disable your starter or injectors and show the SECURITY light. Go to this link for info and ways to beat this system yourself.

Lost keys to ford ranger and need to bypass the antitheft system.I have a xtra ignition key but it does not have the chip to start the truck.

Hi,

I am not allowed to provide instructions to bypass an antitheft system, I am sorry.

But I can tell you that it ist not simple to be done,I think it´s even impossible to override the system of your car. The reason is that the immobilizer is included in the engine control module, so there is no way to bypass the system.

The easiest -and cheapest- way is to order a new key or tow the car to the next Ford Branch to program the existing key.

I had the same thing happen to my car. When you turn it to the on position and wait 20 minutes it resets itself.what is happened to your car is the antitheft is not letting you start your car. you need a by-pass modular to bypass the antiheft so that it will allow your car to start. This is what I did to mine and I do not have any proublems with is starting now.
