A local auto parts store should have kits for removing the oxidation from your headlight covers. Ask at the counter and they can point you in the right direction. Some sites like craigslist have people that offer headlight restoration services, some will even come to your house or place of business. Local carwashes may also offer the service for a fee.

in case this has not been solved, you will need to remove the retaining clips, screws and bolts from the underside of the car. remove the left and right turn signals, in addition there are 2 bolts on each side of the bumper in the turn signal area, lift and gently pull forward to remove, re assemble as you have taken apart, best of luck, thanks

2005 Honda Accord headlight replacement.

For the driver's side headlight, yes, the battery must be removed to change the headlight. There are three screws but they don't have to be removed, just loosened enough to where the bulb can rotate ninety degrees to pull out. Be prepared to reenter the radio code as disconnecting the battery will cause the radio to electronically lock out. The radio code can be found on the security card or inside the user's manual if you're lucky.
