SOURCE: Mercedes Benz C180 Fault Message Brake Assist.Visit Workshop BAS

Hi there

BAS is the Brake Assist System and if there is a malfunction it would only come into play in an Emergency stop while applying full pressure. BAS applies full braking force because people tend to lighten up their pressure on the pedal in these situations. I would suggest that the best thing to do is go to a Workshop or Service Center and have it checked out. Please remember to put a good rating on my profile.

Kind regards
Dustin Ellse

SOURCE: Service Brake message

Hello, You probably have brake pads that are worn down to the sensors. You will need to take it to whomever does your repairs. It could be either the front or rear pads or both.

If you find this info to be correct, please enter a (fixya) rating

Our 2007 odyssey the battery died after only one year. Bought new one now four days later car won't start again. We left no lights on or radio, not even the dvd player. What's wrong with this...

Battery might have died cause the altinator is not charging 14+V Please charge the battery, donot boost the dead battery. After charging the battery check the altinator output.

Will not start, new battery 3 months ago. think

it could be starter or altinator
try another battery if it starts with that its your altinator
if it was your starter it would make a clicking or whiring noise when you try to start it.

My new Honda Fit (one month old) stood for 2 days, and I had locked the car with the remote until I hear the horn sound. When I came back this morning the battery was dead. No apparent cause. No light left...

We have two new Honda Jazz/Fit in my family and haven't had nor heard of the same fault.

But it can happen to any car if you make regular short journeys with things like defoggers, lights, seat heaters and similar devices in use as they drain the battery more than the alternator gets a chance to recharge it.

If you know that's not the cause and if it happens again, then you'll know that there's a battery draining fault somewhere. If the dealer then remains unable to trace a fault it may be one of those difficult to trace intermittent faults and eventually your Lemon Laws may apply. I wish we had them in the UK!

My 2006 h2 hummer battery keep's going dead i just put it in chairing sys is putting 110 volt's

If its putting in 110 volts then you have a altinator problem.Regulater over chared the battery. The battery needs to be replaced you have damaged the cells.Thats why it want hold charge. Before you do fit a new battery change the altinator.Hope that was helfull.
