SOURCE: starter relay clicks when you turn ignition key on

I would think bad starter. Remove it and have it tested to find out. It could also be the starter solenoid gone bad.

SOURCE: Replaced battery and starter. My 2004 ford

this is a stupid idea but one of my co-workers have a 98 explorer and she lost the chip in her key. after that it still wouldnt start turns out the anti-theft kicked in and they had to reset the fuel shut off switch. your battery replacement maybe did the same? not sure where your switch is but hers was up under her passenger side floor board up front somewhere around the kick panel it was a purdy red button

SOURCE: Ignition switch cylinder has been replaced but

Check ignition switch, the switch sit on the steering colum, under the dash, on the top side of the colum, make sure the rod that come's from the key is still in the switch, you will have to remove switch to check, held on with two small screw's, after removeble of switch, with screw driver work switch, if it don't feel spring like, switch is bad

When I turn the key, the lights go on, windows work, sunroof works... but when I turn it to the start position, nothing happened. If I jump it at the started with the key on, it runs OK.

Try another battery. Sometimes a battery might have enough amp to turn the lights on, open and close the windows, and even beep the horn. Sometimes it might even display that it have the right amp, but in reality the battery is damage giving you the wrong information.
Test with another battery, you could borrow one from a friend. Being there, done that.

Turns over but won't start

I would start checking fuses for power. It could be a battery cable issue or something in the fuse box. The dash lights would not be powered thru the key switch, but the other stuff would be. Provided the key switch is getting power for accessories.

When trying to start all i get is a click from the celanoid on the inside of fender

First there are a couple of things that could make this happen,
1) corrosion on battery terminals
2) bad chassis ground from battery
3) weak cells in battery (bad battery)
4) bad starter.
1) If it is corrosion just take the terminals off clean and replace.
2) If it is bad ground- trace the 4 gauge cable off the battery to the block and make sure it is fastened securely.
3) If it is weak cells or bad battery Load test the battery or replace it.
4) replace the starter.
What is happening when you turn the key and you hear the solenoid kick is that there is enough voltage to engage the solenoid but not enough to turn the starter. #1 #2 or #3
When there is enough voltage to turn starter but still no go. #4

The car want start i think its the key because someone tried to steal the car before

IF YOU SEE CAR SECURITY LIGHT ON.WHEN YOU TURN KEY TO THE START POSITION.NO STARTER NOISE.TURN THE IGNITION KEY IN SWITCH TO THE RUN POSITION FOR 10 MINUTES.IF SECURITY LIGHT IS OFF.TURN OFF IGNITION SWITCH FOR 5 SECONDS.THEN START ENGINE.IS IT STARTS OR NOT. YOUR SECURITY THEFT SYSTEM IS GOING BAD THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO REPLACE BODY CONTROL MODULE WITH NEW IGNITION KEYS AND LOCK CYLINDER AND SWITCH.THEY HAVE TO PROGRAM IT IN TO PCM SO CAR WILL START.MAKE SURE BATTERY IS GOOD IT HAS 12.5 VOLTS AND BATTERY CABLES CLEAN AND TIGHT.BECAUSE A BAD STARTER OR SOLENOID SWITCH AND WEAK BATTERY WILL CAUSE NO START UP.

Engine start problems

the problem could be the starter, battery, battery cables, or alternator. the clicking could most likely be the starter going bad if not bad already or the battery weak or bad battery cables, if you have good power to everything else radio headlamps and heater the i would start by replacing starterlet me know what you find.

Car won't start; Replacement Key from GM or Starter Bad?

Check the cylinder, maybe the magnetic spot is not contacting the correct area of the cylinder. Cylinder may be loose, also poosibly bad computer chips on the keys.
