SOURCE: wont start security light stays on

Body Control Module (BCM) on both counts. Find a shop in your town that specializes in electrical systems to test it. Beware, these can be intermittent problems, so make sure they keep it until the car does what you have observed. Expect to spend about $450 for the replacment. Dealers quoted me between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. By the way, a new BCM will probably only last you about 12 months.

It sounds to me like you replaced everything but the most likely cause of a stall while driving...The crank sensor.

2004 no power shout off driving

This is going is going to take a diagnostic machine to be wired into the truck and taken on a road test.

About all I can suggest before doing that is to have the battery checked. Sometimes a cracked battery plate can float inside a battery and short.

Another possibility is on dual cam motors there are parts called "cam phasers". It would not have anything to do with the dash lights, but can cause stalling out at high speeds and lack of power.

What happens is each side of the motor has a Camshaft. The 2 sides are not connected in that they advance and retard timing independently. The cam phasers control that function.

When 1 phaser malfunctions, your engine is out of time within itself. It may stall or knock.

I wonder about your fuel pump. Did you test the fuel pump pressure after the change? Try a fuel pump relay?

Some of the items I mention can cause your problems and not generate a trouble Code or check engine light.

2003 Ford Windstar----I had battery light, abs and brake light intermittantly coming on. Found that alternator was over charging and there was a bad wire overheating going from battery and fuse panel. ...

Hello, It could be what you said. But if you know the Voltage was too high, you may want to replace the Ignition Relay and the Fuel pump Relay. If the contact points are cooked, they could work intermittently and it would be difficult to test. A bump or a little overheating could cause the contact points to break loose and then work when they cool.

It is good that the "check lights" are off. I always tell my clients that the scans are free at Autozone, Oreillys, and Advance. Some things like Relays may not trigger a light.

Be careful with a Wiggle test, but you may find a short in the wiring by shaking the wiring under the hood. I doubt the Voltage Regulator is causing your current stalling problem. A fully charged Battery without a Regulator or an Alternator would provide an amount of reliable power until the Battery was drawn down.

I hope my Solution is very helpful.

I have a 98 monte carlo the battery is new I was driving it on the freeway and it died wont start back could it be the electric starter or maybe the converter clog or maybe the fuel filter and pump

Most of the time when GM vehicles stall or refuse to start, it can be traced back to the anti theft security system. Put your key in, turn it forward and try to start it. When it doesn't start, look for a light that says "security" on the dash. If you see this light, then you have found the problem. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/ This link offers info, pics, help, and "do it yourself " solutions to security problems on GM's.

1995 olds 98 no supercharge stalls while driving but will start back up but will aventually cut off again new fuel pump, filter and coil packs

These cars are equipped with a factory installed security system that runs off the chip in your key. When this system starts to fail, it can turn off starters and/or fuel to injectors. This causes the car to stall while driving. The system the corrects itself when you start it again. And then dies for the same reason. Check this link out for some symptoms, tell tale signs, and solutions.
