Question about 2011 Jeep Compass
Its in warranty ,no?
new cars , data is hard to get, too new. (come with the deal, go to dealer as them to fix it with a NASA level engineer + ASE certs !!)
my online sources has zero compass support.
old cars, are simple a brake switch a wire and a lamp. cave man simple. but..
on newer cars, when you step on brakes, the Body computer
sends a message to the lamp controllers via the CAN network
some times, the BCM goes nuts, who to cure that. can cause
NAV and Radio to go nuts for fun. (reset, read the FSM on how to do that)
so my answer is , Take it IN.
after checking all fuses in both fuse boxes
read the operators guide. in the glove box, it covers fuses.
