Question about 1997 Chevrolet Blazer
The proportioning valve will not pressurize the rear brakes. I've replaced the master cyl. (twice). A garage spent over an hour and could not free up the proportioning valve. The ABS sucked when it did. I want to put a seperate proportioning valve on and bypass the original ABS/proportioning valve system.
Can I do this and where can I find the parts?
I am retired and was a mechanic.
These trucks need a seperate bleed procedure for ABS you need a scanner to put it into this bleed mode, hope this helps if not get back to me and we'll go from there. please rate my fix as i strive to be the best
