I have 1997 Geo Prizm LSI, I lost the panel of the fuse box under the dash. I need to know the watts for fuse circuit Box 5, 8 and 9 and 12 for some apparent reason, the lights to my transmission, m

The fuse list is also shown in owners manual. If you do not have manual search on web for fuse diagram and it will be there somewhere. If fuse calls for 15 try a 20 - if that blows you have a shorted bulb socket or wire somewhere. Do not go any higher than one size larger with fuse or wires can get too hot.

Im told same fuse controls dash and tail lights just look in owners manual but i have no owners manual can someone please tell me what fuse is for das and tail lights on 2000 saturn sl please

It looks like the parking lamp fuse is in the box in the engine compartment marked PARK and the dash light fuse is in the box on the driver side of the dash marked DIMMER. They are two different circuits.

dont know this particular vehicle but locate your owners manual and the fuse box or boxes in your vehicle will be shown in it. there should also be a list of what each fuse in the box is so check them out and make sure they arent blown. if you dont have your owners manual the most common places for a fuse box are under the dash on either the passenger or drivers side, under the hood (usually next to the battery but not always), on the side of the dash (drivers side) as soon as you open the door and on rare occasions under the back seat or even in your trunk.

The signal lights or emergency lights do light up when turning on!!!

Without knowing the year/make/model, and without an owners manual, I can't really tell you which fuse. Check in your owners manual to see which fuse is for your 4-ways/hazard lights and turn signals. If you don't have the owners manual, check inside the cover of the fuse boxes as many cars will list what fuse is for what feature

Are you putting in the right size fuse? Your owners manual should direct you to what size fuse to place in there, and be sure to use this size. don't use a higher size, as it could cause a short and/or fire.

If you are using the right size fuse.. then you have a short in that system... somewhere.

Recalls are only for safety reasons. No one is going to get killed if your car wont shift out of park. There is a fuse, I dont know where you get info from. Usually its the same switch that works the brake lights, if they work, the switch and fuse is good. the shifter is most likely bad, just fix it. You can always call a Salvage Yard and buy a used one, then replace it when it fails again, and again.

When i put my car in reverse and then park and pull the emergency brake the motor for the top comes on. need to know which fuse to pull to stop this until i can get it fixed

Refer to Fuse Box Cover and Owners Manual, should be a diagram in owners manual and it should say what fuses are in the fuse gathering and in what order they are in. Hope that helps.
